Dr Colan McGree

Dr Colan McGree was born in Gladstone and has been practicing in this town for the entirety of his career.

After completing his degree at the University of Queensland, he worked at the Gladstone Base Hospital for 3 years and then began working in general practice. Dr McGree is Practice principal at Port Curtis Medical Centre and educator for all new doctors. He is currently not taking new patients, except for skin cancer checks.

Dr Aisha Asghar

M.B.B.S.MD

Dr Aisha Asghar graduated from the University of Karachi in 2005 and worked as an Internal Medicine/Renal Trainee prior to moving to Australia in 2011.

Upon her arrival Dr Asghar commenced employment as a Medical Registrar and continued in this role for 4 years before joining Port Curtis Medical Centre in January 2020.

Dr Aisha Asghar has completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Practitioners.

Dr Harpreet Grover

Dr Harpreet Grover qualified from the Government Medical College, Amritsar, India in 1999 with a MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Human Physiology, M.B.B.S. (Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and a BSc (Bachelor of Science).

Dr Harpreet has worked in Libya, Canada and now Australia.

She has been practicing locally in Gladstone since 2020. Dr Harpreet Grover is a Licentiate of the medical council of Canada, a Canadian citizen and now has her permanent residency in Australia.

Dr Thinzar Oo

We welcome back to Port Curtis Medical Centre, Dr. Thinzar Oo who has completed her Registrar training and now a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. We congratulate her on passing all her final exams.

Dr. Thinzar worked in hospitals for over 7 years before moving onto General Practice. Changing from a hospital-setting to a GP-setting has been, quote, “the best decision she has made in her professional career”.

Dr. Thinzar still has a keen interest in skin and is taking on new patients.

Dr Bo Bo Oo

We welcome Dr. Bo Bo Oo to Port Curtis Medical Centre, who has completed his Registrar training and is now a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Bo Bo has been working in Gladstone for the past 2 years in GP land and is happy to begin his awesome work with the patients here at Port Curtis Medical Centre.

He graduated from University of Medicine in Myanmar in 2012 and moved to Australia in 2019. He has worked at Bundaberg Base Hospital for 3 years before moving to Gladstone as a general practitioner.
